One of the key themes in the mandate letter to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General is digital issues: combating online hate, harassment and extremism; enhancing the powers of the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (OPC) and advancing the Digital Charter, which the Government rolled out in May 2019.
